Bob Malarz died on July 26. He had fought with cancer for three years. I had the privilege of getting to know him personally.i appreciated his ability with his various cameras and his ability of recording such beauty in our desert.
That STINKS!......
Sorry to hear that.
Thank you. His B/W images were phenomenal, truly inspirational. He was one of my favorite photographers on this forum.
I met Bob by chance at Roaring Fork restaurant in Scottsdale, quite a few years back. We chatted now and then. He connected me to this site. I haven’t contributed much here, but have appreciated the connection. He will certainly remain in my thoughts.
I always thought the stuff he posted was pretty darn good. It's sad to hear that another of the "good ones" has passed.
Thanks go to AzPicLady for giving us the opportunity to "eulogize" him.

I am SO sorry to hear that - I wondered where he was. I was a great admirer of his B&W work. Rest in Peace Bob, you are and will continue to be missed - a big loss for the forum.
He was everything you could want from a Hog. Excellent photographer, patient instructor, encouraging viewer. I will miss him so much.

Shared a few online chats with him and always enjoyed his UHH contributions. Sad news.
Bob's b&w landscapes/panoramas were some of the best offered on UHH.
I am so sorry to hear that another from our photo family is gone.
My condolences to the family. His work was greatly appreciated.
He was a member and poster who I respected and will miss him.
