... the Nikon D5200 can't Rock?! ...the Rocks are on the table to prove it!!
Lens was my 55mm Nikkor 2.8 Micro.
In good light and with a good lens the D5200 could rival any full frame camera.
(PS - It looks like your DOF is a bit thin and the focus lock seems to be on the back of the chair or the front of the decking).
.
A single exposure cropped to panorama.

Nicely done, both of them
Umm, the rocks are out of focus. "Who said" ...indeed?
And why is R.G. posting a color shot to Black and White forum, in your topic? Geeze, UHH is weird some days!

~ Well, now I feel (...and no, not for the first time!!) idiotic!
Two things: 1st, not sure why I missed focus on the rock - I mean... I processed the dang thing, I shouda' seen that! I guess I was just intrigued by the shadow play. Good excuse, right? NOT!! Plus the fact that if I liked the shot well enough to shoot it, why didn't I check it in camera or at least take a few exposures - there is only ONE!
2nd thing: The lens was NOT my 55 micro. It was my 50mm 1.8G lens @ F2.8. ITS AUTO FOCUS, folks! I know I used that lens (micro) on the D5200 before, however, it was not even with me on that trip to Oregon.
OK, I just SLAPPED myself. Now I feel better! Wait.... now The Wife want to kick my A.. ....!
