Some shots from an airshow in Davenport, Iowa back in June. I’ve gotten used to going to Chicago air show where the jets are a little farther away. I took my R7 with 500 mm f/4 and I was in too tight to show the close in formations with all four jets flying.

Super set. I really like number 5. Spectacular. You don't need to show all of each jet for a perfect photo.

Thank you. That is uncrpped. Couldn’t quite get it all in. By the end of their set I was out in adjacent bean field.

Outstanding set! I didn't know about a major airshow in Davenport; my sister-in-law lives there, so we'll have to plan a visit and get the timing correct.

The air show used to be held each year but now it seems to be every 2-3 years. I didn’t know about this year’s show until about 3 weeks before the event from a TV ad. Usually either T Birds or Blue Angels perform when held.
