Great photos, glad you included some of the old time Gassers and Alters! The brother of a friend of mine in our subdivision (now deceased) was the original builder and campaigner of the "Cool Bus" and I served as one of his pick up pit crew members when he was making exhibition runs in our area. The engine he ran at this time in the Bus was a supercharged version of the 482 c.i. Chevy big-block that I had in my Flat Bottom boat.
