Certainly, Spock was logical enough, (Smart), to get his doctorate in something or another. So, technically he may indeed be Dr. Spock. Maybe his doctorate was in the science of irritating Starship doctors with the nickname "Bones". Something to think about, or not.

Spoken like a true Trekkie. However, I did not mean to suggest that Spock gave Dr. Leonard McCoy the nickname "Bones" but rather that Dr. McCoy seemed to be constantly irritated at Spock's lack of emotional expression.
