If you have not seen the first series of the show "Good Omen" I recommend it. There are 6 episodes & just recently a second series has started. Caveat emptor-if you did not like the humor in "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" &/or if you have strong religious beliefs then perhaps this show is not for you.

Great series! I was so glad to see a season 2.
Glad someone else enjoyed it. Our youngest son from Seattle & our daughter from Houston were visiting & we watched the first series together & all enjoyed it.

Just started it last night. I'm looking forward to watching the whole thing.
We watched the first season, and the 2nd one is on our list.
It's based on a book by Neil Gaiman, who writes stories that weave together mythology and science fiction, usually with a dry but continual British humor. I think the book is even better than this series.
I agree that more often the book is better than the TV representation &/or a movie's.

We watched the first season and enjoyed it very much. So far the second season is not as funny as the first to us.
will
It's good satire...just like religion...except no one gets hurt.
Unfortunately, more often than not, follow up series do not live up to the level of the first in the series but I guess TV show producers don't like resting on their laurels.
As I grow older I remain amazed at the number of people who still want to believe in an all powerful, omnipotent God,of any religion.who created the World.
Why would anyone want to make diseases like MS, ALS & MND?-to mention just a few. I suppose their response might be that those are the Devil's work but then that makes their God less than all powerful.
OK, so what's the next problem to be solved?!

No one does...but you hit the gorilla in the room.
It's precisely those diseases...etc. etc...natural calamities...the absolute struggle back then to survive childbirth.
That's exactly what creates...all religions.
That and the fear of death...which is ever present...it works on us as a species...'the curse'.
