The LED ring has an advantage in that you see your lighting in real time. The distance is so short that you can have both sufficient DoF and shutter speed using a medium ISO.

MEIKE MK-FC110. It works fairly well. The last time I used it was to photograph orchids. I purchased a
Ulanzi VL49 square light. I feel much more comfortable with the steady light that can be changed to any color of the rainbow for less than $20. It saves the need for colored filters.
But I would like to make a suggestion. Before actually employing the light or flash, install fresh batteries or charge fully. Read the manual and do a few test shots to see how it performs. I am not sure what lens could be used. I might use a 50mm lens. Any suggestions? Thanks for allowing me to share.
