Nice photos, Cloudhopper! I like taking mushroom photos, seems like a never ending variety!
One question: I hear good things about the Fuji XT-3. But it seems that I see a lot of photos posted using second party lenses. Is there a good reason for that? Inquiring minds want to know!

I've been a Nikon guy since my first purchase at the Guam exchange in 1970. I currently have 3 nikon bodies and 14 lenses. I got a great deal on a used Fuji xt3 but I can't justify buying all the fuji lenses so I got an adapter to use my nikon lenses on the fuji. Very happy with the results. I like the mirrorless features, but for BIF can't beat the DSLR and especially the D500!
