Yesterday morning was relatively quiet as far as the howling wind goes. It was also cloudy that made for good picture taking. I took my camera for a walk to photograph some flowers along the sidewalk about 4 houses down on the opposite side of the street. While walking my neighbor, Cliff, two doors down on my side of the street yelled out and asked where I was heading. I crossed back over and explained I wanted to photograph some flowers near the sidewalk across the street. He invited me to his back yard to see his wife’s flowers. They were magnificent and I took a number of photos.
When done there I crossed the street and started taking photos from the sidewalk as I did not want to trespass on someone’s property. When I finished I saw a pretty weed in the middle of the sidewalk and crouched down to photograph it. Then I heard a voice from the house asking what I was taking a picture of. I stood up and met that neighbor, Heidi, who said she was always interested in photography and wanted to do it sometime but did not know much about it. I invited her to come along sometime if she wanted. I explained about not wanting to trespass and she gave me permission to photograph the flowers in the rest of the yard. I was there about 1/2 an hour taking photos of different things.
These are the Part 1 flowers from Cliff’s yard. Part 2 will be the flowers from Heidi’s yard. I hope you enjoy them.
