About twenty five or so years ago, back when Adobe Photoshop was so unsophisticated that they did not even have layers, I did some fooling around. It happened at the time that my wife and I had gone out for our twenty fifth anniversary, and asked the waiter to take our photo at the table. The idea occurred to me that I could take our original wedding photo from a quarter century earlier and somehow combine it with the more recent one of the much older version of us. You will see the results in the first pic in this post. I know. I know. The two couples look so very different from each other but, believe me, they're both us.
This inspired me to do a bit more fooling around with my new Photoshop toy, and I made a few of the other photos ... inspired by the now notorious director Woody Allan's film, Zellig.
No travel pics this time. Just some fooling around.
Fifty year old us sitting in front. Twenty five year old us standing at back.

Here I am at the Yalta conference putting rabbit ears behind two of the diplomats.

Me as the Sphinx. This was a bit tricky. I had to ask a friend to take multiple pics of me at all differrent angles in order to get my face to fit appropriately on the body.

On the Yellow Brick Road. Also tricky. I asked the same friend to take multiple shots of me doing this little jig for the same reason as in the previous Sphinx pic.

Thanks Mike. Now we're married nearly fifty six years.

What is really sad is that I will be 66 in September and you guys make me feel positively ancient.
