I took my nine year old granddaughter to see Barbie on Saturday. About a third of the way in, I started to realize that this movie was not for kids. It was extremely woke and dark at times, but it was also funny in spots. It is making alot of money, but it is sad that this is what Hollywood has become today.

Not trying to start anything, but to use "Woke" is an odd way to describe it (I have not seen the movie) to me the term "woke" describes being aware of the truth/ways of the world/real history, not rewritten history to downplay things that really did/have happened..... I know it is a highly populized and often misused term by some parties (it is very misused here in Florida, by our gov), but to me it means an awareness of reality.

I agree but there's no need to introduce certain realities to very young children.

If WOKE means an awareness of the truth of our history (what has actually happened versus attempts to whitewash and hide/forget what has been done), I seriously doubt that the "Moral Founders" would agree with those statement. I cannot fathom them writing/signing great documents like the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, etc.

I think you mean "your reality". "WOKE" reality is anything but real. The only thing about "WOKE" is that it is converting the USA into a third world country.
