Before he died Dusty Hill told the band he wanted Elwood to take his place. Elwood was clean shaven, and they didn't see him during Covid, and when they were ready to start touring again he surprised them with the beard he had grown. I saw them with Jeff Beck last year in Austin Texas.

You need pretty long fingers for that fretboard. I wonde r how many octaves that thing covrrs.
