Ah Jack, it is not near San Antonio, never was, Concepcion is actual quite IN San Antonio. The first of the five Missions is just down Mission Road, which is just around the corner from my studio. The area is part of the River Walk and is now designated South Town. Just though people who visit San Antonio and Mission Road might like to know that detail.

Thanks for that info Timmers. I've photographed all five of them, some twice, and didn't realize they were within the city limits. There's some pretty interesting places to photograph in and around San Antonio.
