If I could and also be so inclined to purchase such a car, it would have to come with natural air-conditioning (be a convertible)!

That's one Ford I'd own along with the newest Vette. Stay with the USA muscle. Too bad Dodge isn't going to make anymore V8 hotrods.

Little different than the 1953 Ford that my parents had for a few years. Photographs better, too.

Odd, i read the 21 and my thoughts went back to my 29 model A 5 window coup. What we see and think is what we think not what is real.

Brat photos of a proto... or was it actually produced??

I was sitting in the showroom at a local Ford dealer as my car was being serviced. On the floor was the same model Ford GT 350 strutting its stuff. I didn't get a shot of the info sign, but it mentioned the MSRP for the car was $640,000.00. and it is a very limited production model.

The photo is after a slight background adjustment.

That above my cut-off price for a car, but there could be a waiting list for that. It's limited production, and the resale price could be a lot higher.

Hmmm - I really don't think taking pictures is a waste of money.

Not a waste of money if you can afford it, actually these cars are a better investments than most stocks and bonds. Super cars are for adrenaline junkies, the GT is a true American super car made in limited quantities.

Who would have that a 1955 Chevy would sell for $100,000? I'm glad that my main interest in cars now is reliability and MPG. When I was a kid, everything - cars and parts - were affordable. I remember buying carbs and alternators for very reasonable prices. Now, $100 is a bargain for anything. I used to buy Champion spark plugs on sale for $0.59 and headlights for $1.00.

nice photos. as regards the 'waste of money' thing, i disagree. if you want to spend a huge wad of loot on fancy machinery, then that's your business: they are, after all your hard earned, overtaxed, God-entrusted dollars and how you distribute them is up to you - not someone who had little or nothing to do with their accumulation.

would I buy the car? probably not - but that's no reason the next guy shouldn't

Have to agree. I tend to sneer at ostentation, but there's more than a little jealousy in that. I'm trying to learn to just enjoy what i see, and here I see a beautifully designed bad azz auto. If I had themoney to buy one, I wouldn't. I'd be scared to drive it down to Publix for groceries or through the drive up lane at Panda Express. Can you imagine finding a door ding in a $500k + auto? And what good is a car you can't drive?
