I shot this Carolina wren through my kitchen window the other day.
Six years ago I received a three shamrock sprigs in a tiny 1" pot as a party favor. Since then they have thrived, have outgrown several pots and are periodically trimmed down to dirt level when they get too overgrown. I gave them a "haircut" recently and here is what they look like three weeks later!!
