Woke once again strikes out against freedom of speech...unless its liberal speech

Donor pulled out of his $400K pledge to the university. A faculty member hosted some conserative speakers and the other faculty flipped with 36 of them signing a petition to cancel the event. The event occurred, but the sponsoring faculty member was fired two months later.
I guess if it ain't woke speech, it should be censored.

How is it freedom of choice...the faculty wanted to silence conservative speakers and REMOVE a choice from the students.
Freedom of choice would have been to let the students decide if they wanted to participate or not.
Don't want to hear conservative speakers, don't attend the event. That would be freedom of choice...easy peasy!
