Have you recently upgraded your computer?

Good question Barbara but no I have not made any changes for a long time?
Changing URL and removing the / seem to work. Thanks Jim

I was also denied access by my internet service provider just now using your link.. Different message, but same result. Entering usa.canon.com without the slash worked just fine.

I noticed I had two different messages why access was denied as well. You solution worked and I am very appreciative.

I had the same problem. Delete the web browsers cookies. Hopefully that will work.

Did remove browser cookies, turned VPN "off", extensions... I appreciate all help and suggestions

I am not sure why I am unable to access Canon USA website? I have not had a problem in the past. I wanted to check on firmware update but I get this message...

Access Denied
You don't have permission to access "http://www.usa.canon.com/" on this server.

Any ideas?

Both https://www.usa.canon.com/

and https://www.usa.canon.com

work for me. Something must be going on with your ISP and / or Computer and / Browser. Have you had an account with Canon in the past? I do since I have had and use Canon Printers, Inks, and Papers.

I don't have a lot of experience with ISP's other than my own, but have had experiences where some proxy servers seemed to clean up minor errors.

I have that happen with some websites. I have more than one browser on my computer and when I change browsers, the website works. Sometimes my VPN creates problems as well. That is not the problem in your case. Good luck

Yes have had an account for years. With the help of HH'ers I was able to fix the problem.

I have one computer that is kept with an older OS because of legacy software I need to use, I have just started getting similar messages from that machine. My phone & other computers are fine.
I don't know if that might apply to your issue... just passing it along.
Also cleaning cache and restarting might help
Good Luck
