Has anyone used an Air Tag with an Android phone?
Seems like one needs an iPhone to activate "Lost Mode", so "sort of works" is no help if one does not have an iPhone to begin with...
I suppose Android users need to purchase Galaxy SmartTags.

Does anyone make a device similar to Apples Air Tag that will work on a Google Pixel 7?
Tile - dedicated Android tracking devices, same as AirTags

Thanks for all your responses.
I should have added a little more background and details before I posted but judging from the responses, it’s basically a “No!” or too difficult.
Here’s some background and details:
I have an Air Tag I put in my new leased car. Of course I have 2 iPhones (my wife and my own) and a iPad with cellular.
My son is planning a trip across the US but his phones are Android. He does have my old iPad which doesn’t have cellular service.
He wants to get a newer vehicle and bring some personal stuff with him. I thought the Air Tag would be good for that but, as mentioned, he has Android phones.
I also have an older iPhone 4S and an iPhone 5.
I’m pretty sure they have Blue Tooth and that doesn’t require reactivating the cellular in those iPhones in order to connect the blue tooth.
The alternative, as suggested, would be the Galaxy Smart Tags/Tiles(?).
So, if there are any more suggestions based upon the new information…I’m listening.
And Thanks for the help provided so far. Much appreciated.
