I have. It is a legitimate store...here in NJ. I have bought things in person but not via Internet. They were good to me

I have purchased a number of set ups from Beach. They have a store in NJ. Now I believe that most of their sales are done online. Most likely to compete with B&H and other stores that have a big online presence. At one time they always beat the B&H prices. However, over time I was able to get better deals from B&H.

They lost me forever when I was ready to purchase a fairly expensive L lens for my Canon body. About one year ago I went to their store to see it in person and try it out on one of their bodies. They said that wasn't possible because the lens is in the box. I was ready to buy and drop over $2k on this lens and they wouldn't let me see the lens. I took a field trip to B&H, saw the lens, then ordered it online to save the tax.

I've dealt with them since the early '70s. Good people, they stand by the products. If you're not satisfied with what you bought from them they will take it back, no questions.

Curious ..... They let me take a 70-200 out of a box & try it on my own camera back in the spring of this year Makes you wonder. Prob shud stick w B&H ... That's where I get most stuff

Might have been the person I was dealing with. He struck me uninterested in making a sale. Sat there flipping through the paper the whole time. I suspect he didn't think I was serious about making a purchase. Their loss...

Personally I would stick with B&H unless there is a significant price difference. Though I know many Hogs use them I haven't read any complaints about them.

Sounds to me like a matter for management. How many other sales has he lost??
