CNN cuts to commcial

Just now, at 6:17 PM Central Time, CNN silenced a guest in mid-sentence. Frederika Whitfield was interviewing the guest who was clearly laying out the legal vs moral issues behind the new ruling which allows business owners to refuse service...in this case she did not want to create a website for same-sex marriages.

The guest (I did not catch her name) was expressing both sides, but then began to explain how the conservative justices ruled based on the law rather than a moral basis (as should be done.)

As soon as she began to express support for the recent rulings, CNN cut to commercial while she was in mid-sentence. I guess she was not holding the liberal CNN party line.

Censorship or technical glitch?

They ran one commercial then cut back to the show with a new guest behind the table...rather smelly towards stifling speech that began to sound conservative. When do they ever run a single commercial...

CNN: Certainly Not News

Not to worry, you and three other people were the only ones to see it.

I watch Fox (but only the few actual journalists they still have) and CNN also.

Watched Fox at the gym this afternoon and the lady next to me was on CNN.

I got home and clicked on CNN just in time to catch this moment of blatant censorship...

You know I was just joking, Fox from 7pm onward is heavily geared towards inciting the masses and some of their daytime programing is as well certainly their morning show, their Outnumbered show, and their 5pm show. I will say that Special Report is pretty straight down the line in that it is factual reporting covering issues you might not see elsewhere.

I don't watch CNN or MSNBC because their bias in my experience has been so strong that it is irritating to me, I can put up with Fox's only because they are stroking my conservative ego even though I know they are sometimes bending and twisting the truth just as the liberal networks do, it is a business model. I am very much into golf and watch a lot of golf tournaments so from time to time I will catch 60 minutes after a tournament broadcasted on CBS.

It better than Fox, with the news they wished had occurred.

Censorship involves suppressing something that is "offensive". This wasn't offensive, so it wasn't censorship. At the most it was restricting an opposing opinion. If you watch Fox news you never see this because they don't allow anyone on-air with an opposing opinion, which, if you call it censorship on CNN, I'll call it on Fox.

WTF are you talking about, censorship is not limited to something "offensive" and it is becoming more and more prevalent in our society today as both government and media work to censor speech that they do not want you to hear as they move forward with agendas that they do not want you to fully understand.

Covid is only one example, there is much more as Mwalsh has just pointed out.

CNN did to the news what ESPN did to sports, showed what rotten degenerates the players are. People who watch television religiously tend to thrive on the garbage they see. Television networks are the largest group of censors on the planet. They control entirely what goes on air, without any qualifications to do so. Their only motives are profit and ratings.
