Yes, the QR plate is included.
It’s a Sirui TY-60 and it was in the box.

Thank you for getting back on this Jeff. I have (and extensively use) a Sirui Model L-10monopod Tilt Head for shooting League Soccer. The thing that is impressive is the included Sirui TY-60 which is by far one of the most robust Arca-Swiss style quick-release plate I've had the pleasure to deploy on a Soccer Pitch. I actually purchased another Sirui TY-60 ($28.89) for my second D3. This Arca-Swiss Plate is oversized and a perfect compliment for any "Pro" body DSLR... i.e. D3; D4; D5 and D6.
