Faking It - Manipulated Photography

There often are threads here discussing manipulalation, PP or no PP, purists and such.
I just realized there is an exhibit going on called 'Faking It: Manipulated Photography Before Photoshop'.

Actually a good history of all photography.

This was really interesting - reminded me of some of the unusual
projects that I worked on in the old Hollywood days.
Here is a shot of a series of actress Lee Remick in which she was shot in various bathtub scenes by different directors.

Wow! Quite an image. Dang!
It is relevant with today. Maybe even more so. Could be associated with a few few modern films. 'Kill Bill' ??
In today's digital 'color balance' could ruin it.
