Was watching a coyote chase a rabbit in Yellowstone last Thursday whe I thought I saw something move WAY up on a round top mountain in the distance. I grabbed my Z9 and Nikon 800mm F6.3 lens and pointed it up there through the morning valley haze. I found what looked to be a bear and grabbed a quick handheld shot. It wasn't until I was back in the Jeep and checked it out that I confirmed the Grizzly, and after zooming in a bit I saw the 2 cubs to the right of her. Way too far off for a keeper, but I do love that lens!
Unedited JPG straight out of the camera, Snapbridge imported at 2MB to my phone. Definitely not the full resolution version.

I looked with my big magnifying glass and saw the little ones. Great capture from that far away. Shooting bears can sometimes be a challenge, but it is always worth it.
