I didn't know that Ascension Day (Ascension Thursday) was a public holiday in Germany, but the railways and the people in Saxony knew. There were extra trains put on and it was party time (beer specials) starting in the early morning. A good number of revelers were getting rowdy before 10:00 am. All were having a good time.
