My kinda pic! Really, really nice Dave. Colours are super and the lightning fits perfectly.
I saw an interesting photo online recently of the statue’s hand being made in a Paris studio. The armature was wooden laths and looked artistic in themselves.

With the newly designated federal holiday, Juneteenth, I read the second reason for France's gift: "Originally conceived as an emblem of the friendship between the people of France and the U.S. and a sign of their mutual desire for liberty, it was also meant to celebrate the abolition of slavery following the U.S. Civil War."

The lighted torch is great and I like the green cast to the sky…or is it my eyes or monitor seeing that? It gives an eerie look.

Thank You, glad you enjoyed it, not your eyes or monitor, there's a light blue to light yellow(shadows to highlights) gradient map using the softlight blend mode.
