Washington Post article on how the combining of AI and Photoshop capabilities may give more people access to Photoshop, including the ability to do deepfakes.
The examples span the range from funny to downright scary.

https://wapo.st/3NeZUSFThatโs just what we need, more fakes.
ME: AI, make my picture great.
AI: Great is relative, what would you like?
Thank you for the link. I'm not totally new to AI, but appreciate information on how Adobe is currently viewing their responsibility with the use of their new "Generative Fill" option.
I don't know if we should call it AI, machine learning, Sensai or magic but if you haven't tried the new Remove Tool, you are missing good stuff. It is hidden in there with all the rest of the tools like it is not a big deal. But it is.
From the "cup half full" point of view, I see Adobe continuing to make their $10 per month plan more valuable. New tools in both Photoshop and the Lightrooms this year are impressive. Many chose to hate Adobe when they switched to subscriptions at Lightroom 6.14. Consider what you get now for $10 compared to then!
On the other hand, the "cup is half empty" for those that want photography to be accurate duplicates of what the eye saw. Is it "art" or is it "real"? If "real" is what you want, this stuff sucks.

when using PS AI i circle a person in the picture and tell it to delete that person. When using regular PS, I circle the person and hit shift f5 , that removes the person same as AI. Much of Ai is saving me steps in editing.
and then there is telling AI to actually make a picture. I said create a picture of the most beautiful girl.
below is what I got.
There are some flaws in the pic but you have to admit it is amazing.
is it photography? Nope its Art ...

Oh, it's definitely not art. Far from that. It's play is what it is.

I sure wouldn't mind meeting up with her in AI Wonderland ๐๐๐๐๐
Why does she sprout leaves?
Why does she sprout leaves? Good for PS! (If Topaz was not AI, I wouldn't have bought it.)

Mac you left out a few words.... should read "Thatโs just what we need, more FLAKES making more fakes."
Would AndSell Adams be famous if he used AI processing? Bet not.
Subjedt title... "Photoshop easier to use"... perhaps "Photoshop too easy to use"... has Photoshop shot itself in the foot... erasing the momentous learning curve... next a $50 program will duplicate Photoshop and poof Photoshop is history ... a Kleenex word gone generic.
AI is good in many ways love my Topaz Noise and sharpness AI and resolution expansion. We must be self-limiting as to what we put in our โdeepfakeโ machine photo-shopping bag ... remember the accusation... That has been Photoshopped and is not real... deeper now so easy that photos are hard to believe even if real.
Writing and photos with the introduction of Word-processing and Cell phone cameras have become so easy and piled deep that it is hard to appreciate any one of them mass produced by the masses. When all your neighbors have written novels sold digital form on Amazon and have their walls lined with their ill taken modified images we become immuned to the saturation of input. Write a Charles Dickens novel in an hour with classic drawing photos... vs the years of toil that Dickens took.
Hum then again... Tesla Car made in quality and quantity in one minute start to finish with AI engineering!!! Swamping car companies that as GM and Ford been making cars for 100+ years... is that bad?
