2nd tomato of the season

We have a tomato plant on our balcony. I had no idea it would produce this early, and such a big fruit. Photographing it was a real challenge.

I like how gardeners like to beat everyone else at producing the first tomato of the season. By the end of the season theyโ€™re begging people to take them.

I like the first shot too.

Nice tomato. Looks like whoever cut the tomato in half cut their finger off๐Ÿ˜ณ.

Funny, I actually had not planned that photo. We cut the tomato to use in a sandwich and it was sitting on the cutting board with a pepperoni. When I saw it, i thought it made an interesting still life.

I tried to get the best balance, that was the challenge, more light tended to wash out part of the image.
