Was trying new lens and caught these two shots. bird was moving fast so I just aimed and shot so as not to miss him
Can they be fixed in Lightroom or should I give them up and delete them? I just ordered lightroom and have not received it yet. Please anyone that would try to fix them I would appreciate it. Only PP I did was to crop some.

Er, NO
How can a blurred shot be saved, can't.
The other is burnt out so sorry.
Some blurred shots can be saved with new technology. Blurity is one tool. This is an attempt with it...not so hot.

Agreed, can't be saved (delete). All you can do is get out with your camera and take some more shots until you get some you're happy with :)

NOTHING can be done to any photo that is blurred like that.
I have photoshop and when I have a picture that is little blurry, I change it into an oil painting, which is one of the filters. It doesn't correct the blur, per say, but it looks as if its suppose to look that way.
Lightroom cannot "save" either but it will make them better. Problem is the first is so blurred and that can't be corrected and the second has a lot of lost detail due to overexposure. You may have a chance recovering some detail with the second though. Good luck and you will be very happy with Lightroom.
You may have a chance of making the second one look somewhat decent, especially if you shot in RAW, but as for the first one..it's too blurry. Nothing is going to take out that much blur..sorry...
I blur, max out the color, posterize, black and white, or soft focus my worst photographs and use them as backgrounds for birthday cards! Waste not, want not.....
Nicely redone Aaronphoto. They look pretty good redone.
This is about the best I can do with the second shot.
The first shot is a total loss
Thanks everyone for your help. I was afraid that they were too far gone to fix. I was trying new 100-200mm canon lens that I got off ebay for $69.00. (see previous post on that). The bird flew in then immediately took off, no time to do anything but take a shot. Hopefully next time I will have time to focus.
