black mamba featured a beautiful car here last week built by an engineer named Norman Timbs. I was thumbing through the internet , car watching, and I ran across this. I didn't take the photos. Interesting, I thought, as well as gaudy and excessive. The fit and finish leave a little to be desired too. And it was made the same year as me
.
That is an uggly car , but the price is not out of line .
How beautiful it is with flowing lines... a classic indeed.
He "kept" Bing in the trunk during the Road shows.
Bob H to his mechanic, "I don't know what the problem is. It keeps binging and crooning."

You're right, it is ugly!

And maybe Ann Margaret and a few other "hotties" du jour.
Interesting--that's a real hybrid!

And his favorite golf club rides shotgun.
You can just imagine Bob riding around in that. As mentioned, it is ugly, but would be a head turner.
I bet it would sell for a lot more than that at auction. Bob Hope and a custom car.

Pure ostentatious…. but Hope probably liked to be seen behind the wheel. Good for auto shows, tho. But…well preserved. Thx for sharing…
