I get tired of seeing photos of the moon here on the forum. Expensive cameras, inexpensive cameras, different lenses, different shutter speeds, different ISO, different focus points...yada,yada,yada....SAME picture of the moon and I'm no better. But, this is different, I like it.

Terrible and not realistic.
As an amateur astronomer you NEVER EVER see stars with the moon except early phases
We plan all our star parties around the week before and after the new moon. Sorry to say this but it's like doing a portrait and photoshopping a second head on a pretty girl. More isn't always better if it NEVER exist in reality.
Your moon is fine so get rid of the obviously fake stars

Your moon is fine so get rid of the obviously fake stars. The stars are blobs and not even in focus. When astronomers evaluate a astrophotography we ALWAYS look at the edges to see how pinpoint the stars are which shows us how accurate the focus and tracking was.
