Kudos to MPB photo, I ordered a lens from them and it was at my house in 3 days, not only that the lens was listed in EX. Condition but it was like new and the packing was surpurp it was packed in a heavy duty box and the lens was in another box with more packing very professional . You could see that they came along way in there business. I would purchase from them again any time. AAAA++++ to MPB PHOTO, Jim Bianco
It's a Brit company with a store in the U.S. I have had nothing but good experiences with them!
Yes, they are good. They have a YouTube channel, too.
Interestingly there is another current UHH thread with a sad story from another customer of MPB where they totally failed him in a big way.
https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-776388-1.htmlSo no dealers are always perfect in how they treat their customers. We have seen that with KEH, B&H and Adorama here too, many good experiences, and some very poor experiences too.
Cheers and best to you.

If I were you I wouldn't want to deal with them. They are near you but don't deal in person. Not so much on the phone either. Just the internet.
I don't like a business which doesn't want to deal with you in person. Selling and buying used equipment is best done in person as condition is hard to ensure online only. I understand if they are far away but in the case of Jerry he could drive there (but Jerry doesn't want to drive there any way so it's good for him).
Also I heard that they don't want to talk on the phone either. They want to deal only via email. I much prefer an immediate reaction especially when you have some source of confusion.

Perhaps the email policy is to have a record of what was said and agreed to.
I like calls best but always follow up with a email summary and request a response so the other party cannot deny the conversation or what was said.
My personal experience with MPB buying a lens from them was excellent. Highly recommended.
I've had excellent service with MPB in GB.
Sold to them and offered prices reasonable enough.
Bought from them - items better than described and very well packed.
Am being informed when an item I want is back in stock.
So very happy to trade again.
I just purchased a lens from them this week, and it arrived the next day. Much improved from my last encounters with them.
