My advice to the 'waddabowdders' ... take your humbug the people in 2024

"This Indictment Is Different"

As Trump faces federal charges, the evidence seems stronger, and the legal issues simpler.

https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2023/06/trump-indictment/674345/

"Trump is certain to make his strongest and most impassioned defense in the court of public opinion, ... "

" ... Court cases take time, and Trump’s attorneys will make every effort to draw this one out, trying to push a trial past the point of the 2024 election. If Trump wins, he would likely have the power to shut down any probe and perhaps even to pardon himself. That means that the court of public opinion may also render its verdict sooner than any federal court, and the jury will be American voters. ... "

He's screwed, he really hasn't endeared himself to anyone other than the 5th Ave Alt-Chimp Militia Boys.

Unfortunately the 11th Circuit won't let trump use his usual delaying tactics.

They've already shut the trump team down twice in the past in his judge shopped Special Master case!

It's not going to work this time.

So don't count your chickens before the eggs hatch.

Jack Smith has already taken the potential for the trump team's desire to try to delay the trial into account in the timing of this indictment.

This case will take priority in scheduling any hearings and the trial date over any State or Civil cases.

The trump legal team(s) are in for a scheduling nightmare in the coming weeks and months.

Buckle up, it's going to be a wild ride as they bounce back and forth between courtrooms in multiple jurisdictions!

And don't forget that Jack Smith still has the Election Fraud investigation going on.

Delaying the Election Fraud case until after the Mar-a-Lago documents case has been concluded might make sense at this point, because the Mar-a-Lago documents case is pretty much a slam dunk.

trump knowingly took the documents from the White House.

trump obstructed the retrieval of the documents.

The only question at this time, is did trump show the documents to anyone who didn't have the clearance to see them, and who those people were? Were any of them adversaries of the United? This is where the Espionage charge would come in.

Just this week, 79 year old former FBI agent Robert Hassen was found unresponsive his cell after his conviction in 2002 for spying for Russia. His sentence was life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Unfortunately the charges trump is facing don't carry such a harsh punishment, but because of trump's age and physical condition, his sentence could virtually end up with trump staying in prison until he dies. trump is currently 76, his father died at the age of 93.

With a 15-20 year sentence, the prospects of trump walking out of prison alive are not looking good.

The other cases trump is also facing could see additional prison time.

The Georgia case, if convicted, also has the potential for time in prison, and it most likely won't be a concurrent sentence, it would be a consecutive sentence.

So, the race is on to get these cases to trial. But the Georgia case doesn't have the DOJ standing memo about a sitting President not facing charges while in office to deal with.

This might be a good time for that standing memo to be done away with.

It was put in place to get Spiro T. Agnew convicted before they went after Nixon, but Nixon resigned, then Ford pardoned Nixon before that potential case could be brought against Nixon.

51 years later, we now have precedent to permanently terminate that standing DOJ memo. No one is above the law!

Well in 2023 America (meaning the U.S.) that is patently false.

The reality is:

"No one is above the laws we choose to enforce,
where we decide to enforce the laws,
at such times that we choose to enforce said laws,
and only upon such persons as we choose."

If Trump did what Biden did--self disclose, cooperate and return the materials, then none of this would be happening.

And if Biden did what Trump did--refuse to cooperate, make false statements ,obstruct the investigation, force a subpoena and then not comply, I would be in favor of his impeachment and removal from office.

Maybe that difference is too nuanced for you. But if a pathetic false equivalency is all you have, then run with it. And don't forget to send Trump some cash.

It will be quite a show.

So the fact that trump got caught red handed with STOLEN documents at Mar-A-Lago and refused to return them when subpoenaed to do so more than once, you desire to give trump a pass on being held accountable for his CHOICE of actions?

Just a variation of interpretation dependent upon ones political perspective.

Or something like that.
