Canada has invaded the US -- with smoke. Here in the Lehigh Valley of PA, the Canadian wildfires are causing health problems as the smoke is overwhelming us! The smoke is so dense, you can't really see much over a quarter mile. Here are some shots of what we are seeing -- it's like a fog except it makes eyes water and causes coughing.

Nice photos of a real ugly situation. Stay inside as much as possible and pray for a wind shift.

Same here in Williamsport. Just looking across the back yard is hazy.
Good shots regardless.

Take care. Would wearing a full face mask help? Maybe one of the many available filter can help with the smoke particles.

I was in BA Argentina... volcano in Chili... Noon was dusk... the sun was a pale red circle... so I remember that stimulated by your photos.

To purify the air in the apartment there in BA, I lay wet towels on the floor, then turned down the AC temp... the condensed water picked up the particulate and drained it away.

You guys are so lucky not to have any forest fires in the US but in Canada

it's the worst we've ever seen it. I wonder what is causing it.

- Lightning
- Irresponsible people (85%)
- dew drops acting as a magnifying glasses (Yes, it CAN happen under the right conditions.)

The US has had a bunch of forest fires (ie. California). You are not alone.
I'll admit, forest fires in Canada are very rare. Maybe it's because of the 85% item being SO much lower.

I think you may have forgotten to mention climate change.

Nice set. We're getting that here as well in northeast Ohio.
