A few pics of locomotives taken on film decades ago. First is the UP's Bigboy 4023 (on display in Omaha), second is a close-up of UP's 844. I'm not certain which locomotive the last two close-up pics are of. I may post these in the b/w Section later. Most of my pics of these locomotives, including the Challenger 3985 are close-ups.

Thanks Frank. They're my favorite parts to photograph also. My avatar is from the UP Challenger 3985.

Thanks Joe. They were taken with my Mamiya 333 using the 80mm lens and a Paramender. A great macro setup for medium format film.
