Imagination has no limits. Nicely done
Another interesting and dramatic image Piet, AI has awoken your slumbering need to create! Not sure I agree with you that painting may fall by the wayside - some artists need to create using their hands. My son sculpts both physically and digitally but he won’t give up the physical, it’s too fulfilling. The digital side will win for business I think.

I think you are right - I used to think you did not need to know how to paint physically, mix colors, etc, because you could do a lot of things digitally to get similar results (though of course you can not produce the physical thickness of the paint digitally).
With AI I think it will become more important than ever to be grounded in artistic knowledge. You have to know if you like Rembrandt or if you like Frazetta - because if you know what you want, you can make the AI do it. If you don't know what you want, you still might get lucky, but the control of it (like always) comes from knowledge.
And the photoshop stuff breaking loose now is just in its infancy I am sure. I was very glad to see that Adobe is choosing to try to remain relevant. The time will come when rather than messing with sliders (though I am sure you always will be able to do that), you will rather be able to say "bring in some warm light from the left please".

Very different. Very creative.
