one for the moon and the other for the stars.
There is one little detail, Why are there star showing when the unlit part of the moon is? There should be no stars seen in that area.

One for noon one for stars
Don't see stars with moon out
We do astronomy one week on either side of new moon.
No reason for stars looks fske

The lower right hand corner. That image is of a Waning Gibbous Moon.

If you were referring that question to me, I can't tell you why, as it is not my work.
bdk posted those images. I have to admit that it is interesting to see the moon as one might see it, if there was no light pollution. In film days they would of done such shots using double exposures.
On my Canon 70D camera, I can take multiple exposures, from 2-9 images and then let camera blend them into a single exposure.
