My eye are not that great any more - even with glasses.

I was wondering how people like the KatzEye Optics, specifically the split screen. This is for my Nikon D-90.

Also, would you recommend any of the other enchancements that they offer.

I have researched split-image focusing screen for my D90. Several are offered on eBay.

I put a KatzEye on the D7000. I don't use it all the time, but for me, for critical stuff, it works great. Helps to turn off the AF focusing bracket so it's not distracting.. I got the Optibright treatment. Don't know if it made any difference.
It will take some patience and good glasses to install it. That screen is tiny compared to what you see through the viewfinder. Makes changing the Nikon F screen look like child's play. (I won't even go into the RB67)
