I'm not really a truck guy, but I ran across this in Bj's parking lot a couple of days go. Pretty nice.
Beautiful truck and photos! Love the trucks from that era. We had a '59 Ford half ton, 292 V8. At the time, I always felt that those quarter-ton trucks were seriously under-boxed. Why make a nice big cab, with such a tiny place to put stuff?
They're certainly becoming popular. Older truck prices are steadily climbing. Maybe the smaller beds were for the equivalent cargo capacity of today's SUV's. A few saddles or a bike or two or some suit cases or smaller payloads whereas the full size beds were used on a farm to transport hay or dirt or other cumbersome, heavy payloads.
I actually prefer the step-side look of older trucks. The one here is nice.

No exspen$e or manhour$ were $pared in updating this Beautiful Truck.
I Love the Step-Side models as they are the "Sporty Models" of pick-ups.
They make me . . .

Great photos and really nice truck. I, too, am not a truck guy, but seeing some of 50 and 60’s trucks make me wish I owned one, especially if they were in this condition.
Really nice! Would hate to see the bed spoiled with 50 bags of fertilizer piled in!

I bet it doesn't have the original engine. Nice set of images.
