Went to Costa Rica with the Road Scholar group. Highly recommend them for a photo tour. Excellent service and outstanding guide. 8 days, 3 different stops and stops in between. Been to CR before and this was the best. Nikon Z7ii, 18-400, ISO auto, 1/2000-3000, f as needed. Well there are more pretty birds but I've reached the limit of 10.

Great shots and... no "snakebird!" We even saw anhingas in Africa! We loved Costa Rica too. Nice shot of the purple sabrewing hummingbird, mine didn't turn out, nut behind the viewfinder error. My "avatar" picture is from a hummingbird feeding station somewhere around Mt. Poa.

been on this trip twice and really enjoyed them. However my images are not as great as your. Good job. never saw bats.
