Glenorchy is a small charming town at the very edge where the the Dart river flows into Wakatipu Lake and a popular escape from Queenstown- less then an hour drive and it is breathtaking all the way...There is a jetty and to the right of it mesmerizing row of trees and misty purple light on the sunrise. It was a must destination for me. PS I newer watched lord of the Rings ( apparently famous scenery
I could not believe this light and even took a video . It was that color .In the photos there was no color manipulation, just slight exposure adjustment . It is my favorite set from NZ photography trip. Will print the last one on metal.

Beautiful scenes. I agree; if you’re going to make a single metal print, the last one is the best candidate.👍👍

I finally felt during this trip I am getting somewhere in my photography. I could finally envision my photo and make it happen in camera. Long way from when I first picked up the camera in 2017.
