I don't feel qualified to discuss your technique, but wow, what an image. The scene and the emotion of the older couple walking hand in hand into the forest is (in my opinion) FANTASTIC. It has been a long time since a photo has touched me like this. Frankly, it was how I was hoping my late wife and I would be. Thank you for sharing!

I'm not sure what you mean by technique, however, I do think you have created a wonderful piece of art.
For me, perhaps the highlights are a little distracting but the composition is spot on, the colours so appropriate and I think the green smoky 'vision' in the centre background is a brilliant touch, sort of invokes the suggestion of an unknown future for the older couple.
