Big Nate is my favorite comic strip. This arc with Daphne has been going on for several weeks, longer than most others. Peirce is tugging on heart strings young and old.

I may be missing something, but the message is so pessimistic. It has not been my experience of "love & marriage".

Right, but that's a common theme in humor - husbands and wives not getting along over the years. I had forty-six good years before my wife passed away.
