...they say "most" red tides are safe to surf and swim in. There were alot of people out there enjoying the beach...I'm sure if it was unsafe the lifeguards would black flag it.
I think this one tells the story a little better. BTW, I was using my 70-200 f2.8 Z lens with the 2x TC hooked to the Z9, kinda happy with the TC's performance but I'll stick with the 100-400 for this type of work as a standard. Sure wish Nikon would kick that 200-600 out!
We have had red tide the last two years on the west coast of Florida. Florida warns of health issues caused by the red tide. Breathing issues rank at the top of the list.
