Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anybody attended a workshop that blew them away (in a good way)? I like the looks of some of the offerings from Santa Fe, Provincetown FAWC, etc., but I haven't signed up for any so far except for some Underwater Photo Workshops years ago.

Any recommendations? Any to stay away from? I probably won't be doing any safaris in Africa or hunting Yeti in Nepal, so probably this hemisphere would be more my speed.

Thanks in advance.

Any workshop by Jennifer king. Jenniferkingphoto.com. fabulous photographer but more importantly patient teacher for all levels, very well organized. Workshops are lots of fun with huge # of returnees. Cant recommend highly enough!

Where did you see snow leopards in Montana? Seems thrilling and I’m within a days drive from anywhere in Montana.

Triple-D Animal Farm in Kalispel, MT. Slightly south and west of Glacier Natl. Park. If you get to Canada turn around and go south for a few minutes. Just north of Flathead Lake. East of Idaho. Can't miss it.

I did Antarctica with the Muench group. It was 88 participants, 9 pro’s and they chartered the ship. We went ashore twice a day. They were always available for questions but didn’t “babysit” the group. Almost all of the participants were very experienced photographers. Most more than me.
We were shooting 24/7. Meals were worked around the light.
It was the most beautiful place I ever saw.
I went with them again to Alaska. 6 participants, Marc Muench, and 4 crew for a week on a large cabin cruiser. As much attention as you needed. Again, most were very knowledgeable photographers.
I am going next to France with Muench and Kevin Pepper who was with us in Antarctica. Very small group again.

I spent every summer since before I can remember in Kalispell so I won’t have to go all the way to Canada 😎. Met my wife there in 1975. I go back regularly but it’s not the “Cows-bell” I grew up in. There used to be a kind of like zoo near Columbia Falls but it was a horrible place for the animals and was shut down in the 60’s. Sensibility in the keeping of animals has improved over the years thankfully.
