If either of the Northrups told me what time it was, I'd pray I had an accurate watch to check for myself.

When I did catch a few of their podcasts it was like entertainment Bob... A grain of salt goes a long way.

They have both outlived their reputations.

I think Chelsea is nice looking too but don't really care for either one. For what it's worth I believe they own a bemmer.

Wow, lots of negativity here .......one of the best on the net IMO - sure not perfect - but mostly very helpful - similar to Ken Rockwell ......he stirs up lots of negativity here also ....

Anything Chelsea is certainly worth watching ! 8-)

IMHO, there are some nuggets of good info sometimes in their videos. But they are mostly good entertainment.

They are NOT really taken seriously by my fellow professional photographers that I know, but their 1.4 million subscribers love them, and keep them in the money with clicks, buying their books and videos, etc.

They are an attractive couple and that certainly helps them get watched. I respect the niche and living they have carved out for themselves, and I acknowledge all the hard work it took to get to their level of success, and what it takes to stay there.

They are big enough to feel they should take on any subject, some of which they should have stayed away from like the Steve McCurry bashing fiasco. Sometimes their research is incomplete and/or flawed when they test new gear and dont even know how to properly set up the gear beforehand, LOL

I dont hate them, I dont love them. They are the kings of the clickbait title, which does get those clicks and make them more money. I do check out what subjects they are talking about, and if it is a subject I care about, I might watch to see what they think they know, and check their facts with the reality I know. Yes sometimes I agree with them, their findings and their opinions, sometimes I dont.

I much prefer reviewers/photographers Dustin Abbott, Gerald Undone, Huge Brownstone of Three Men and an Elephant, Gordan Laing, Dan Watson, Jason Vong, Mark Smith, Mark Galer, etc.

Cheers and all the best to you all.

I especially like the thoroughness and professionalism of Dustin Abbott's reviews.

Although I do not subscribe to the Northrup's channel, I have seen many of their videos over the years. Like you, some I agree with and others are just over the top. They are certainly entertaining, and I have occasionally learned things from them that I did not know. When presented with new information from them I will always research it elsewhere for additional confirmation.

I cannot comment on their reviews of equipment that I am not personally familiar with, but It is useful to look at their reviews of specific cameras and lenses as well as others to to see if there is a general consensus among reviewers. I never ever assume any given review by anyone is the final word on that product.

With the Northrups, they prioritize the art of entertainment - and that's OK - it is the key to whatever success they have ! 8-) They are my first choice , especially for broad choice comparisons - but not my only choice - and yes, I like Ken Rockwell also. In both cases I respect their vast experiences and presentation.

Is this about her BOUDOIR Photoshoot from 2016?

If so, it is a joke.

They do provide a link to Matt Granger
