A while ago I mentioned a friend who purchased a Sony RX10IV at my suggestion. She had not taken photos before but wanted to get into photography with a good camera but where she did not need to change lenses. My only suggestion from my own experience was the Sony.

She has now used it a few times but I like one of her first photos taken. She has given me permission to submit this photo so I could get opinions from experts on UHH. I hope you like this but she will accept all honest critiques.

I thought I had submitted this earlier today but don't see it. Hopefully there will only be the one submission.

A good begining, with a nice image and the camera is a superb choice for a new photographer that doesn't want to carry or change lenses. I own one along with 13 other digital cameras of one type or age or another with a pile of appropriate lenses. And a couple of storage boxes of 35 mm and 120/220 film cameras.

Thank you Robert. She will be pleased with your comment as well. Like you I have a number of film and digital cameras and lenses. For the most part the Sony RX10IV handles about 99% of what the other cameras do. But of course I still love using those cameras from time to time. Using quality equipment is simply a pleasure.

Not only is this a very good photograph it is also quite amusing. Those geese are the best tended fowl in all the land! The entire herd is out for some fresh air. Only in America can geese have their own ranch! Cheers/applause to you!

My friend also made a comment about how the geese lined up for her in the photograph. Thank you for the comment.

The photo tells it all about farm life. The only critique, the straightening tool is needed to un-tilt the farmhouse, other than that a truly great photo.

The 1" sensor is all we need with AI both internal and external of the image processing. This camera is impressive to the N-th degree.

B&H Photos says: "Featuring an updated 20.1MP 1" Exmor RS BSI CMOS sensor and BIONZ X image processor, the RX10 IV is capable of up to 24 fps shooting at ISO 12800, as well as recording UHD 4K/30p or Full HD 1080/120p video. The sensor's back-illuminated and stacked technologies afford a high degree of image quality with notable clarity and reduced noise to suit working in challenging lighting conditions. "

Your friend made a really nice capture, as previously mentioned a slight leveling and all is good
