Silver Coins

I can hardly believe that after almost 70 years silver US dimes and quarters are still in circulation. It was in 1964 that the last silver coins were minted and this one almost got by me. There are 3 ways to tell a silver coin, by its luster, by its edge, and by its ring when dropped on a table. They are worth about 10x face value even in poor condition!

My husband and I always look at our change when we get it back. You do occasionally find some old coins.
