The Dominion settlement gives Smartmatic a road map to follow in their case. But hopefully they'll be able to add the on air statement requirement to their "settlement" agreement.
Fox will likely do anything they can to avoid going to trial at this point after so much of their dirty laundry has already been publicly released in the Dominion case.
Fox dodged a potentially very expensive bullet with the Special Master being dismissed after the case was "settled".
The Doninion case was for $1.6 Billion and they settled for $787.5 Million, which was 49.21875% of the original amount.
The Smartmatic case is for $2.7 Billion. Based on that calculation, the Smartmatic case could settle for $1,328,906,000 +/-. That's not chump change.

It seems it was already proven Fox lied when they knew the truth. Those facts were already out to the public
The only trial issue left was fox legally allowed to lie. To keep audiences.
That was uncertain.
Fox credibility is shot .. to bad for their honest people like Neal cavuto and Bret Bair. Looks like Wallace was the smart one .

There wasn't a better candidate. I would not vote for Trump even if someone offered me $787.5 million.
