Been hesitant to upgrade to windows 11 (from windows 10) for fear would cause problems with LIghtroom Classic and Photoshop. Anyone had problems with the conversion?

No issues with the upgrade. I upgraded about 5 - 6 months ago. While there are many new features of Win 11, I mostly use it in an identical way of Win 10. A few minor differences. It is faster. I don't think you should hesitate, providing your ran the compatibility check.
Good luck,
Mark
Win 11 on my laptop. It took a little bit getting used to some minor changes from win 10.
My only real gripe was that the task bar was locked at the bottom of the screen. I found a fix online that changes the task bar to a win 10 task bar so I can now move it to the top of the screen. No problems with existing programs.

I have no reason to upgrade, so I'm waiting until I have no choice.
I wonder why they stopped calling their OS Windows 10. I thought that was going to be the end of the numbering. Microsoft has a history of bad odd-numbered Windows.

I bought a new desktop 6 months ago running 11. No issues that I recall with Photoshop (not a Lightroom user). I run Bridge, Photoshop CC, NIK, Topaz and Skylum without issue. I am having continued issues with yahoo mail in outlook…not so sure it isn’t more of a marketing plan more than a technical problem.

And so was, at the time, Win 3.1!

Answer to prime question: No. Answer to secondary question: Yes.
The user count for the various Lightrooms and Photoshop is in the many millions. If there was a conflict with Windows 11, it would be a well known headline feature on all photography forums, blogs and websites, including this one.
In over 20 years, I have never found any great benefit in upgrading the OS on an existing computer. Even if it works OK, my experience has been that the also-outdated hardware cannot rum the new, resource-hungry software at an optimal level. If you are having issues, replace the computer. If you are not having issues, my recommendation would be to wait until you replace the computer since the new model will come with a new operating system.

Let me modify my statement. It seems that Windows introduced in even-numbered years were not well-received.
https://www.itprotoday.com/compute-engines/will-microsoft-ever-break-even-year-windows-flop-patternSome trivia:
"Skipping 9 happened for one reason, and one reason only - Windows 95/98/Me, collectively known as “Windows 9x.”
Some older programs and internal Windows code was designed to determine if the OS was the Home-user 9x variety or the more business oriented NT versions. Windows XP was the first consumer version built on the Windows NT kernel (core), thus ending the two separate and distinct branches of Windows code.
Microsoft didn’t want to have to deal with any programs or old, forgotten code that looked for a “9x” version, so they just skipped the number 9 altogether."
I resisted win 11 and then, somehow, the danged thing downloaded win 11 and I was stuck. It installed and I actually like it. I set it up / customized it the way I wanted in about half an hour. I downloaded my Adobe, Topaz stuff, reinstalled my MS stuff such as windows (all from the cloud) and I was set. I keep nearly everything on the cloud such as Dropbox and it was quite easy. Not a biggie from my experience.
You are going to have to sooner or later. I had no problem, most people don't but occasionally almost everybody has a problem with an update/down load
Windows keeps trying to coerce me to "upgrade" to Windows 11. My new laptop has 11, my old one has 10. "Photos" in 10 has "Clarity", "Red-Eye Fix", and "Spot Fix", which I often use. They have been REMOVED in Windows 11 Photos! I don't consider this an "Upgrade", so I always refuse Windows 11. Also, the older "Microsoft Picture Manager" included "Resize", which I used a lot to reduce my pixel count when files were too large. "Photos", which replaced MPM, does not have "Resize"! Seems like every recent upgrade has eroded their ability to manage photos!
