Three very pretty young women are walking along on a fine spring day. What's the matter with these guys? They have there heads buried in their smart phones. Times sure have changed.

These guys didn't even look up once.

Ha! I thought you were wondering why the ladies weren't looking at their phones.

I am so glad that my phone hasn't become the main focus in my life. I go days without turning it on.

The one girl has her phone up in front of her, but she probably looked up to see where she was going.....

I know where their faces are pointed, but not their eyeballs. And they may have made eye contact before they got closer. But it's an interesting shot, phones rule.

Times have not really changed. Sixty years ago, watching Playboy bunnies jogging on Oak Street beach in Chicago, the same scenario was repeated without the benefit of cell phones. I even talked with several bunnies when they stopped to catch their breath near where I was sitting. Most of the guys were into their particular sports conversations and ignored the lasses.

YEAH, but what you don't see is that in the next few steps they get hit by a bus.

No kidding. I'll tell you what; I am the same as you, Jerry. I will go a whole week and then some without even touching my phone. My wife had to tell me this morning that I need to take my phone to work next Monday because we are supposed to have a conference call with our financial advisor. I'll probably forget.

I agree. I'm sure they had to look up at one point. But, like you said, "phones rule". Just a sign of the times. I guess.

Wow! I didn't know it that long ago! I used to do the same thing when I was around 13 at Oak Street beach. I just turned 66 a week ago. What I find kind of gross is that I saw a snapshot of my mother at Oak Street beach posing in her bathing suit. She was about 20 at the time. I didn't catch it at first. Here is this hot looking babe but with a nose like Jimmy Durante. That's when I realized that lady was my mom! That was the gross part.
